100 percent Cabernet from two of our three Alexander Valley Vineyards – 65 percent from Red Winery and 35 percent from the Stone Vineyard. This wine should age better than any other vintage we have produced – at four years old, the fruit was bright, spicy, and tightly-wound, with a gritty, tannic finish; two years later, this wine drinks better every day– the same red-cherry fruit stands in the foreground while the tannins keep integrating to form a continually smoother, longer finish.
